This piece started as a photograph taken in Balham by my friend Petra Marton, an excellent photographer based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Petra has a sharp eye for architectural detail, capturing the rhythm and repetition of everyday structures with striking precision.
I transformed her photograph into an illustration, shifting the medium but keeping the essence of her vision intact. The result is a collaboration that bridges photography and graphic interpretation – two perspectives on the same subject, each amplifying the other.
A simple street view becomes something more: a study in geometry, repetition, and urban atmosphere. Proof that with the right collaboration, even the most ordinary corners of the city can turn into extraordinary artworks.
The prints are available in two sizes, A4 and A3, produced as high-quality Giclée Art prints on 240gsm archival matt paper. (Please note: the frame is not included.)
I hope these works bring as much joy to fellow architecture lovers as I felt while creating them.
